The minimum size of the child support in the year 2017
The lawyers of Kalashnikov Law Office emphasize that in relation to the decision of the Government of the Republic< / a > concerning the increase of the minimum wage in Estonia up to EUR 470 per month from January 1, 2017, the minimum size of the child support paid by a parent for the maintenance of his underage child living separately, will be also increased.
In accordance with Paragraph 1 of Part 101 of the Family law of the Republic of Estonia, the monthly child support payment for one underage child should not be less than half of the minimum monthly wage established by the Government of the Republic.
Consequently, the statutory minimum amount for one child support in 2017 is equal to EUR 235.
