The most important amendments to the laws of the Republic of Estonia in early 2015

The lawyers ofKalashnikov Law Office remind you that at the beginning of 2015 there were some important amendments to the tax, social and financial legislation of Estonia that are worth paying attention to:

  • The minimum wage increased from EUR 355 to EUR 390.
  • The minimum hourly wage increased from EUR 2.13 to EUR 2.34.
  • Since the beginning of 2015, the income tax rate is 20%.
  • The tax-free minimum will grow from the current EUR 144 to EUR 154 per month, which will be equal to EUR 1848 per year.
  • The unemployment insurance tax rate will decrease for both the employee (from 2 % to 1.6 %) and the employer (from 1.0 % to 0.8%).
  • The minimum amount of child support will grow from EUR 177.5 to EUR 195
